North Coast Gas Transmission develops and operates natural gas pipelines throughout Ohio. The North Coast pipeline system provides Ohio natural gas users access to gas supply through the Chicago Hub, an aggregation point for virtually every gas producing basin in the Unites States and Western Canada. North Coast is constantly looking for new, advantageous supply sources to improve economics for its customers. This supply diversity combined with North Coast’s competitively-priced transportation route allows Ohio users more options in choosing their gas supply.
In addition to its existing pipeline rights, North Coast’s assets provide multiple pipeline rights which allows for expansion and extension of the system in an economically and environmentally sound manner. North Coast has worked diligently to position itself to help provide natural gas service to growing residential and industrial markets in Ohio with competitive pricing and supply diversity.
North Coast employs three full-time field employees with over 95 years of combined pipeline experience in gas transmission, LNG, refineries, and products pipelines. Our field staff not only operate the pipeline system, but maintain our meters & regulators, actively prevent corrosion, provide line locates, and facilitate PUCO inspections. Since 2004, NCGT has maintained full deliverability to our customers and have an excellent history of safety and responsiveness with zero loss-time accidents, pipeline failures, or unscheduled outages. North Coast is 100% up-to-date on all integrity management inspections and is audited by the Public Utility Commission of Ohio (PUCO) on an annual basis.
